Recently I purchased a SmartUPPS 1400xl (SU1400RMXLB3U) and 5 extended battery packs on craigslist. The seller neglected to tell me he had already removed the batteries. Thankfully he did leave all the wiring and trays behind so I did have something to work with. Unfortunately since I didn’t have a sample to follow I had to buy a set of official batteries from APC instead of the cheaper compatible batteries I usually get from battery clerk.
Below are the pictures I took. hopefully they will be helpful to someone else.
Disclaimer: if you don’t hook up batteries correctly they can crack or worse explode. If your not sure of what your doing do not attempt. Official batteries are the safest solution and the only solution supported by APC
